Drunkard’s Path Block

We will be learning the blanket stitch applique in this workshop. We will be making one Drunkard’s Path block in the workshop, perfect for making a pillow, if you like. See additional information in the supply list, then come by and sign up for a day of stitchy fun!
P.S. There is no curved piecing involved in the making of this versatile block!
Supplies:
We will supply stabilizer, the adhesive product, and template.
Fabric:
(2) 7” Squares dark fabric and (2) 7” Squares background, or light, fabric
(2) 4.5” Squares of dark fabric and (2) 4.5” Squares of background, or light, fabric
Thread: 1 spool and loaded bobbin that matches your light color fabric, and 1 spool and loaded bobbin that matches your darker fabric.
Rulers-
A square 12.5” ruler or larger for trimming.
Your favorite rotary cutter with a new blade.
A pair of fabric scissors
We do have a few paper scissors to loan during the workshop, but feel to bring your own, if desired.

Sewing Machine:
Sewing machine, cord, foot pedal, manual, recently oiled (if necessary), new needle, familiarity with.
Sewing machine feet-
Open toe and whichever foot you use when piecing to obtain a 1/4” seam.
