Intro to Quilting is a 8 week class that goes from fabric to binding. This is our fifth week, where we will be going through backing fabric and how to cut it. We also will be basting our sandwiches.
This quilt finishes at 45.5” X 45.5”
Fabric Requirements:
A kit is available for the top of the quilt. It normally runs $39.99. However, you do recieve a 15% discount on all supplies for the class. You also receive a 15% discount on any purchase the day of the classes. You will need to purchase a backing fabric and batting to complete the class and the quilt.
Supplies:
As it is our goal to guide you making your quilt, we don't want to bombard you with "sew" many things to spend your money on. We are able to provide cutting mats and irons for you. You do not need a 1/4" presser foot. If you have one, you are more than welcome to bring it. However, just a general presser foot is fine. You will need a rotary cutter of your own with a new blade. If you do not have one, we do carry them in the shop. During this first class, we will discuss the fun tools used in quilting.

Seam ripper
Scissors for thread snipping
Sewing Machine:
Sewing machine, appropriate feet, cord, foot pedal, manual, recently oiled (if necessary), new needle, and familiarity with it.
Cost: $150.00 (Does not include fabric or supplies)
